Stellan Skarsgård

As a young boy, Skarsgård played the title role of the TV series "Bombi Bitt och jag" (1968). He also played roles at the city theater in Helsingborg (1968), Malmö (1969), Uppsala (1970-1971) and Stockholm (1972-1973). 1972-1988, Skarsgård playd at Dramaten in Stockholm, and in 1982 he hit the film screen with the role of Sven in Hans Alfredson's "Den enfaldige mördaren" (The Simple-Minded Murderer), a film of Alfredson's own novel "En ond man". Skarsgård was awarded both a Guldbagge and Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for the role.
