Is it possible that one DVD has the ability to contain all encoders? PAL SECAM NTSC etc.
Cause i can't find any PAL or other on release.

My first sub has no mention of this data.
https://www.filmo.gs/release/329974-the-bourne-identity

The place where the 'PAL' should be has the text 'Geschikt voor alle beeldformaten'. which translates to 'suitable for all image formats'.

I have added 'ALL' to the release data but should I ?
Or better just leave it blank?

Thanks

Video on a DVD is stored in digital format, but it's formatted for one of two mutually incompatible television systems: 525/60 (NTSC) or 625/50 (PAL/SECAM). Therefore, there are two kinds of DVDs: "NTSC DVDs" and "PAL DVDs."

  • from DVD FAQ

it's a PAL DVD as are almost all EU dvd's.

BTW "D5A/Z9" is not a catalog number. D5A is a region subcode if i'm not mistaking and Z9 is a country code (Netherlands or Benelux)
