I noticed that in some notes HTML code was used and thought I'd try something, using a simple HTML code for links I linked to all the episodes of the show that have pages and could link back on the show on the episode page.

Link to the show I did this on below, just wanted to get opinions before possibly doing this for other shows.

yeah i done something similar to this series.

i think its been described better using the links section and adding episode name number etc after it.

it would make it a bit easier then html coding, though for better affective i think the html will work.

I think currentnly linking the episodes only works for mini-series and shows that do not have that many episodes.

Not so much for shows that have hundreds of episodes, the list would be just overwhelming, and would make the page too long.

I agree it would be a little overkill for American series with all those episodes. I'm just looking for some kind of solution since there are loads of TV episodes floating about that can't be linked to a series page. Linking them to the series page for shows with long seasons/loads of episodes is another alternative.

Ass I've said before, some system like the chapters for releases would be good to use for TV shows to put down episodes.

Yeah, I did a test with True Blood, which has seven seasons but "only" 80 episodes:

It's not absolutely horrible, but it does make the page long, especially on smaller devices.

Yeah, and using the notes & HTML, or the links section seem to be the only ways of doing it at the moment.

I prefer the notes & HTML way because of the placement and because you can enter more details that way.

There should be a better/easier way of doing it, but until then it should be ok to use the tools we have. :-)

And for the episode pages I'd go along with putting the following style at the top of the notes

I like it. Plus it would be super easy to add.

On a related note, what would be the best practice regarding pilot episodes, epecifically those titled "Pilot", I notice the naming practice here tends to be to just go with the show/episode name, but due to the frequent use of this name would it be useful to add the show title in parentheses, there are some that are like this and some that are not so just wanted to check for when I get round to them.
